Nia's interest for photography began on the other side of the lens as a dancer, she began to notice the lack of photographers knowledgable in dance and wanted that to change. She had loved photography since a young age but it wasn't until Film school that she realized how passionate she was about it.
After graduating Full Sail University in 2016 she decided to continue to pursue her passion as a dance photographer and slowly has expanded into other areas such as shooting with non dancers and portrait work. Nia also works as a Make Up Artist (MUA), she took her first makeup master class at fifteen and has kept honing her skills since then. She has been teaching dance since 2011 with Jazz, Contemporary and Classical Ballet being her personal favorites she continues to teach and choreograph in South Florida.
Nia is inspired by people, she loves making them feel beautiful and always aims to provide a space where they feel their potential is being reached. She is extremely grateful to be able to work in the fields she loves and is eager to keep learning more each day.
